LANDSCAPE AND HERITAGE
OLTREPÒ PAVESE
Today the Oltrepò is a sweep of hills, crossed by four valleys, dominated by castles, towers, and fortresses, demonstrating the solid connection between history and nature, nobility, and winemakers. 13.500 hectares of vineyards, an area with a noble past where vines have always been part of the landscape and tradition. We are in the heart of the largest area in Italy dedicated to the cultivation of Pinot Noir, third in Europe after Burgundy and Champagne with 75% of the territory dedicated to this varietal cultivation.
